Frieze:  A high twist fiber giving a more casual appearance.  Because of the higher twist level of the fiber, this can typically be a longer wearing carpet able to camouflage seams and footprints.  Available in both solid and multi colors.


Textured:  A traditional cut pile carpet with a more casual appearance, this is one of the most popular carpet choices. Most commonly known for being “track-less”, which is more forgiving on seams and footprints.  Available in both solid or multi colors.


Pattern or Sculptured:  Constructed of both cut and loop pile to create pattern within the carpet.  Often used in more formal locations of the home such as Living Rooms and Dining Rooms.  Another great area for use would be stair runners.


Saxony:  A cut pile carpet with a clean velvet finish and very formal in appearance.  These are the carpets that showed all of the foot traffic and vacuum marks.


Commercial:  A much lower pile than Residential carpet which makes it more durable in high traffic areas.  Available in both cut or loop pile to create solids, patterns or colorful patterns.
